Althia Blair is Strange News Chronicle's overseas bureau chief, and hosts our weekly podcast. Before joining trange News Chronicle in 2011, Althia worked as a national political reporter for Postmedia News. She has covered many political events on and off since 2006, writing for Sun Media, and producing for CTV and for NPR.
Brad is a former Senior Fellow at the Schuster Institute for Investigative Journalism at Brandeis University, is an award-winning travel, culture, and parenting writer. His writing has appeared in many of the Canada's most respected and credible publications, including the Toronto Star, CBC News and on the cover of Smithsonian Magazine. A meticulous researcher who’s not afraid to be controversial, he is nationally known as a journalist who opens people’s eyes to the realities behind accepted practices in the care of children.
Geoff Dann holds the Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Waterloo and the Doctorat en Théologie from the Université de Strasbourg, France. He teaches philosophy and religion for the Seniors Program at New York University, and has been Visiting Research Fellow at the Centre for Studies in Religion and Society at the University of Victoria in British Columbia. Geoff has taught in departments of religion, philosophy, and health sciences, including the Department of Philosophy at the University of Toronto. Along with his teaching, research, and writing responsibilities, from 1999-2007, he also served as the Clinical Ethicist for Grand River Hospital in Kitchener/Waterloo, Ontario.

Laura Todd is an independent writer and former social policy researcher. She writes on food, agriculture, geopolitics and neoliberal globalization. Her main area of concern involves how large corporations, especially transnational agribusiness, have captured key international and national institutions to undermine indigenous models of agriculture. Originally from the UK, Laura has spent many years in India where she has written for various publications, most notably the Bangalore-based Deccan Herald for 10 years.
Sarah Colin is the senior editor of Strange News Chronicle, and can't really think of a better job than one that lets her read and write interesting stories on everything from aliens and asteroids to Bigfoot and the Loch Ness Monster. Sarah previously worked in magazines at Transcontinental Media and headed up the lifestyle department at Sun Media. Her Twitter bio describes her as a "reader, writer, eater,, fancy geek, summer cyclist," which pretty much sums up how she spends her time outside of work.
